Energy-efficient process heat for the brick and ceramics industry SKS develops and manufactures self-igniting lance burners for high-temperature processes, especially for use in tunnel kilns of the brick and ceramics industry. The patented gas-air mixing preparation enables reliable self- and reignition from an oven chamber temperature of 750 °C. As a result, the burners do without separate high-voltage ignition and flame supervision. High flame exit velocities support the intensive circulation of the oven atmosphere and an even temperature distribution. The robust design with few components reduces maintenance effort and is suitable for both new plants and the modernization of existing tunnel kilns. The burner systems can be adapted to the specific project, oven geometry, performance, operating mode and fuel, and are also designed for the use of hydrogen. Upon request, SKS supplies not only the burner technology but also the coordinated firing system including gas regulation line piping, control technology, engineering and commissioning.
